What does the Philadelphia Steamloop look like in GIS? I georeferenced it created a Streamlit Folium app with a nearby buildings and neighborhoods. Right now it powers about 500 buildings. Going to post a summary of transportation-related amendments to the #MApoli #2024budget shortly, but one non-transpo item I thought worth noting: amendment 1237 (Ryan of Boston) would provide $5 million for an industrial-scale water-water heat pump to replace the #Kendall #cogeneration plant on Mem Drive with a steam-only facility. (The actual cost would likely be much more but presumably borne by current district heating customers.)
