Today's #Deskbot is at the kind request of @KontributeGaming, and honestly I'm glad they did; these are fabulous wee toys and honestly any excuse to have them still out where I can appreciate them. 😊 From left to right (image #1): Swindle, Blast Off, Onslaught, Vortex and Brawl.

The nice thing about replacing the toy collection my brother sold (It still hurts) is being able to replace figure that were broken with new ones. Blast Off here had a broken tail fin early on so it's fantastic to have him whole again.

Stickers clearly need a re-do on all of them though; they look like a child put them on, for God's sake.

The Combaticons in their vehicle forms and with their heavy weaponry attached..Swindle is a jeep with a huge caliber cannon mounted centrally. Blast Off has two laser cannons plugged into his rear and poming over his wings. Onslaught is a gun platform anyway but that twin barelled cannon looks like it could knock something out of orbit. Vortex has two wicked cannons flanking his tail and Brawl, the tank, has upped his arsenal with a serious ground-to air dual cannon mounted behind his default gun turret.

Being a Decepticon team they're every Autobots' nightmare.

Today's #deskbot (almost too big for the desk!) is the mighty BRUTICUS, the total Icon of Combat!

This guy was a *long* time coming, Vortex (grey helicopter) and Onslaught (main body) both quite pricey on eBay now, and Vortex particularly in demand.

But he's here now. Let the carnage begin!

G1 Bruticus stood precariously near the corner of my desk in all his militaristic glory!

The G1 version is the best of all versions, and that's a fact.

Sneaky cartoon homage photo because I don't do nearly enough cartoon references (you guys get enough reference-love already, I think): Core Legacy Starscream is now shown commanding his 'brigade' (still in their combined form), homaging that classic G1 cartoon episode 'Starscream's brigade'! Oh, Starscream, will you never learn?
