Second time drawing a human, first time doing pixelart. Still, am kinda satisfied with the result.

'Tis one of the main characters in my huge setting for a bunch of teeny tiny indie games (am a beginner solo gamedev). In some he will be a playable character but mostly NPC. His name's Duncan, 'twas a placeholder name butttt cant call him anyhow else now so his fate was decided lol. He's a zombie knight (aye, the whole setting is about necromancers fighting the system created by rich bitches so all playable characters will be undead). Sooo on that teeny tiny pixel thingy I tried to make visible his dead skin - pale n with spots, plus adding blood stains on his clothes seemed a valid design choice to me.

The last pic is how iPhone sees pixel art, attached for the lulz.The OG image;s size is 32x32.

Sometimes I look at all those people who post their portfolios on Artstation n Shitter (X) n I see they get offers n get money n it kinda... makes me sad. Bc even if I could force myself into using those platforms ('tis like using Linkedin n other crap to me, plus I never use services that require so much of my data, I anyway hope to get rid of SIM at all - just have to keep it for now bc if I'll have to get a normie job I'll need this shite >_>) I would still not fit there bc I am not that suicidal to work for any of megacorps n to be honest I dont like the most common styles for concept arts used for such projects n it'd be a torture to draw like that and then also who would pay me in Monero (I value my privacy n my money, fuck banks n the system). The other part that makes me sad about it is... that so many people are still doing all that - working for Ubisoft n other bitches, voluntarily becoming slaves for all this shitty system. Sometimes I pity the normies eh :(

all unfinished bc i guess 'tis better to do everything in pixel art, without bigger concepts buttt might still finish these just bc i kinda like them meself.

these are all from my setting which will be used for multiple games of different genres. zombie knight (not fully coloured) and necromacer (just rough sketch) are NPCs and my characters so will be playable only in very linear games as i just wont allow to change their traits n personalities n paths in RPG style lol; the griffin is from lore and kinda plays a role in the whole thing - here i just tried the blocks of colours to see how they work together n am not really satisfied - will certainly be adding lighter elements to armour n i forgor that it needed red in here too, tho i most certainly love colour combos on the feathers n paws.

Ich bin kein Mensch, der Gesellschaftsspiele liebt. Ein Besuch bei Roskothen in #Duisburg führte aber dazu, dass wir so sehr begeistert von einem #Spiel namens „#Concept“ waren, dass wir es prompt kauften.

Es ist ein Kommunikationsspiel, bei dem Begriffe ausschließlich durch das Platzieren von Symbol-Markern auf einem universellen Piktogramm-Board erklärt und bestenfalls auch erraten werden – ganz ohne Worte. Ich liebe es. Im Bild leicht zu erkennen: „Ersatzvornahme“ ;-) — wurde sogar erraten.
