Es wird eine Weile dauern, bis die Queue abgearbeitet ist und alle Timelines wieder uptodate sind.

• Erwartete Auswirkungen: Kurzzeitiger Verlust der Konnektivität von etwa 5 Minuten

Es kann also sein das unsere Instanz innerhalb des genannten Zeitraums kurz mal nicht zu erreichen ist.

is there any VPS provider more chad than #Contabo ?? https://arcanechat.me VPS went down today, the VPS will simply fail to start from the Control Panel, this WAY TOO OFTEN happens during weekends or holidays, their status page says nothing about any problems or maintenance, and if you try to write to support they will tell you "sorry it is weekend, your message will not even be stored" so I guess arcanechat.me will be down the whole weekend >:-/

Contabo's IPv6 supportr in general is something ducking else. I mean, it does not work like it should, even for directly connected ip addresses. It takes MINUTES for a host to be allowed communication, and for hosts in a subnet in docker.. with or without ndp.. you can not ducking reach them. Tested the same as home, it just works.

Unser Provider #Contabo passt die Kosten für unseren VPS an, ab 1. April sollen wir im Monat 6,26 Euro mehr bezahlen. Das sind grob gerundet und im Kopf gerechnet 20 % mehr.

Hatte von euch noch jemand das Problem dass das Login auf contabo.com nicht mehr funktioniert, ohne aber das Passwort geändert zu haben?

Zeitgleich ist mein VPS in Düsseldorf down. Zum Glück habe ich am Wochenende meinen Mailserver auf die Hetzner Cloud umgezogen.

#contabo erhöht schon wieder die Preise? Ne sorry, das fühle ich nicht. Dann doch wieder zurück zu #hetzner. Und das wo ich vor n paar Monaten erst die VM frisch gemacht hatte :(

Any experience with #Contabo? For the price I don't expect enterprise-grade performance, but is it good enough for a personal server? From what I have read about the service, the main downside are connection speeds. While others provide reliable speeds at 1 Gbps, Contabo may get as low as 200 Mbps, but I guess it still fine for my server. Are there any other downsides like reliability?

I've been running my VPS on #VPSfree, but the specs haven't changed since I started in 2016. What (4GB RAM, 120 GB storage) was enough back then is no longer much and they aren't very flexible at scaling, you basically have to double the price to double the resources.

La nostra istanza è tornata online! Mi dispiace per le continue interruzioni; non dipendono da me ma dal provider #Contabo, che in 10 giorni mi ha già spento il server per due volte per manutenzione non programmata. 😠
