The cormorants looked on with mild amusement as the two aged humans picked, slid and stumbled their way along the mile or so of rock fall strewn 'beach' between Fairlight Glen and Hastings. A distant crow, out of shot, watched with great interest as a possible 'tasty eyeball' situation unfolded.

Excuse fuzziness. Operating an iPhone whilst bobbing like a cork on water isn’t easy!!

Today, Mothman and Mothman’s Mr Spouse went #wildlife searching around the Scilly Isles, firstly on a boat where we saw #puffins, #guillemots and #razorbills, atlantic #seals and a distant #PeregrineFalcon.

Not on photo, but we also saw #cormorants and even bagged a couple of #shags

The William Commanda bridge, a cycling and pedestrian bridge that crosses the Ottawa River opened for the season this weekend. The cormorants and gulls are back and nesting.
