Give her a chance to grow. She's in an awkward position right now and allowed to change her mind later.

Anyone who cares about climate should be single-mindedly focused on not having anti-science, anti-truth Trump elected.

She is at least CAPABLE of conceiving that this is a problem. He is not. That is the best we'll get today, and it's enough for tomorrow to have hope.

Our choices between THESE TWO PEOPLE. So press like this is 100% counterproductive because it's only affect can be too weak and support for the person most likely to be helpful.

Unless climate advocates want Trump to be elected, they need to STOP pitching articles in this completely self-destructive form.

The time for this discussion is AFTER we're not in peril of losing all support for truth and science in one fell swoop. Project 2025 wants to rid government agencies like NOAA of scientists and replace them with political loyalists suddenly and with dramatic flair, almost overnight, to show who's boss. Do we want that? Because THAT is the choice up for debate today. And stories like this trick politically unsavvy voters into sitting out or voting third party, which actively favors Trump. Trump will win if people don't vote Dem in force.

I'm an independent, not a Democrat. But I'm voting this year ONLY Democrat. Yes, I'm someone who thinks Climate is the ONLY issue, and it goes without saying I'd ban fracking yesterday, BUT I am 100% behind Kamala, not because of her positions on climate details, but because there is no other realistic choice AND there is a major looming danger in Trump, who openly promises a bottomless pit we (all humanity) will not dig our way out of.

I may disagree with her on things, but I am not stupid. Under her, it will still be LEGAL to disagree. Science itself cannot easily operate under the world of lies and censorship Trump offers.

I am saddened when I see people supporting in various ways those who actively marginalize them.

Support might be in the form of buying their products. Or, even if something is not outright purchased if one uses streamed content that data is collected and it shows support.
