I like the Mac layout better than WinBlows, have for years, so will be figuring out how to do something similar with Cinnamon.
Apps centre bottom, info top right. Maybe a few unobtrusive desklets with time, system status, etc. Don’t know if you can pop the app menus out to top bar like Mac, but not an issue.
Not expecting it to be a breeze, but used Linux from 93 to 2001 so have a clue how it works.

Im making a setup where i made some command chains that change my workspace and sets a theme to it. The buttons have custom icons that change from unselected to selected according to the active theme. Really cool

We also lazy load 5 other popular carousels based on Apple's Top 5 categories. e.g True Crime, Comedy etc.
Now you can change these 5 categories with 5 different categories.
In your user settings you can pick 5 new Apple Categories and these will be the new carousels on your Homepage. #customisation
