I woke up to a reminder of a class by @jeanneoliver that I signed up more than a month ago. I’d forgotten. The class is about Cy Twombly’s work which I love. Kind of my reaction or my interpretation of it. I also opted to work really small this time as a challenge. Twombly worked in oversized canvasses. My sketchbook is 31/2 x 51/2 inches. Je n'ai rien contre #CyTwombly personnellement (il aurait de toute façon du mal à pâtir de critiques là où il est), mais peut-on m'expliquer ce qui se passe dans la tête d'un-e acheteur-euse professionnel-le pour se dire "Tiens, si on achetait un Cy Twombly pour notre collection, on le mettra entre un #Basquiat et un #KeithHaring." ?

Autant les deux artistes cités ont une production tout à fait originale, et chaque œuvre peut être appréciée isolément.
