LOTS of maple🍁 at first taste, though it mellowed quickly to a very drinkable, light and crisp ale. Share the bottle for sure, it’s a 1/2 glass max for me.

Portage Brewing “A Great Northern Wind” Imperial Stout from Walker MN

Don’t over-chill or you’ll squelch the Caramel notes! Slight bitter and subtle chocolate, it’s a solid stout that develops nicely as it breathes.
