A couple of firsts while out of the office this weekend. Our newish Rector got married to his girlfriend and St Mary’s churchyard looked wonderful with all guests enjoying themselves after the ceremony.

I made it back up to the Nantahala National Forest this past weekend. The leaves were not yet in full swing, but they were beautiful all the same.

I did not see a trout. The fish in the photo is a rosyside dace (a minnow). It ate a size 18 wet fly.
