Ancient Romans were everywhere!

A well-preserved ancient Roman palace complex located in Polače, the island of Mljet, Croatia.

The site is a fortification complex that includes the palace itself, Roman baths (terme), two early Christian basilicas, an arsenal, storage for galleys, and remains of ancient docks (now submerged).

The construction year (debatable, somewhere between 2-6th century AD).
