Lancing cross the board
Happy that he proves
Goodness of the Lord

Given black is black
Staying in its lane
Thinking can be slack
Taxing not the brain

Look across to white
Never can be reached
Try with all his might
Resigned message preached

Even humble pawn
Crosses lane with ease
Half of life is gone
Praying on his knees

itself askew
constantly
inconsistently
disrupted
interrupted
the view changes
every time
i look at it
and the sound
the noise
the violence of
the whole
artefact
artifice
bruises
bleeds
contusions
scars
all straight
all endless
