It's always a good idea to keep revisiting the lessons of good design we learned in our studies. And there is no place better than the Braun Museum, Berlin (a fan club for the Dieter Rams - "Der Wert von Gutem Design") to actually see the artefacts and their evolution, all in one place. The work of the designer that inspired the modern minimalist style of Jonathan Ive, the ex-chief designer at Apple. I was thoroughly thrilled and so would you !!

As a designer and appreciator of art, I am enamored with the products that Teenage Engineering are designing. I seriously load their site and drool.

But they’re also usable in meaningful ways. Functional, sleek, simple…reminiscent of the work of Dieter Rams.

OVERWERK i Scott Yu-Jan zaprojektowali iPhone Standby Mode Dock i udostępnili do niego pliki, abyście mogli to zrobić we własnym zakresie lub za pomocą druku 3D na żądanie, powszechnie dostępnego. Polecam zrobić to czymś bardzo wysokiej rozdzielczości. Sam dock, zdecydowanie w stylu retro, wymaga doposażenia go w krążek MagSafe, krążek do ładowania Apple Watcha oraz ładowarkę dwuportową, np. taką od Ankera. Na koniec jeszcze potrzebne są jakieś gumowe nóżki do przyklenia do spodu.
