Overall, I did like this entry in the Digimon franchise, but for me it was more entertaining when it just explored the world and its characters. The ending felt a bit forced.
I really liked the characters, including the Digimon that were much more than just fighting monsters. Hiro was not that special but his bond with Gammamon was endearing. I liked Ruli and Angoramon, but Kiyoshirō and Jellymon were always the most entertaining (also as an anime fan Kiyo is just relatable). I will miss those guys.
