October 18th is Dis/Connect day, when you can reclaim your physical media and skip streaming music. I have shelves and shelves of vinyl and cds that I can play instead of listening to music online. Maybe you don't own any albums. Visit your local library, most of them still have cds you can borrow.

Well, yeah, so I get it now.
Unfortunately, I don't have any #AppleDevice, but just for you to know, (maybe it'd help): On #Samsung, you can use the #ModesAndRoutines #app to set something like: When certain app(s) opened, #connect/ #disconnect from a #VPN (added from #settings, not from a downloaded VPN app).
Also, maybe there are some #unofficial #clientApps for those #music #services, and through them, you'd be able to access them even with a #VPN?
(I have no doubt that you researched the problem and looked for ways of solving it, but this is what came in my mind :-)

I nearly skipped our chat this morning. After letting Charlie out, I decided a nap was in order. Amazingly, he didn’t bother me until my eyes fluttered open around eight—a full half-hour past his official mealtime. I got up, fed him, poured a cup of coffee, and here I am now.
This is the moment when my mind begins to drift toward matters of great importance. For instance, just seconds ago, I noticed that several “ee”-sounding letters are clustered together on my keyboard: E, D, C, V, and B—all touching, all in a line. Then I realized I’d missed Z, which is nearby but separated by the X. I thought, “Well, it’s still close—maybe that counts.” But then I remembered P, stranded way over on the far-right side of the keyboard. Just now, I considered T, which hadn’t crossed my mind at all, but it’s safely connected to the grouping via G.
To sum it up: the “ee”-sounding letters—E, D, C, V, B, G, and T—are mostly adjacent, while Z and P sit out on their own. My original hypothesis, that all “ee” letters were touching one another, was not well thought out.
This is where I’d normally pivot to current events and government, but I’ll let that pass. I’ll leave space for minds to wander and wonder what I mean. One thing’s clear: the dots aren’t connecting.
