It used to take over four hours for me to #DonateBlood: a 90-minute #motorcycle ride to Bloodworks in Eugene, a half-hour to do the thing, and a two-hour (or more) fun, restorative ride back home.

Now I live so close that it takes as much time to get my gear on as it takes to ride there. Today I planned to do a few errands afterward, but five minutes in the hardware store and I was just cooked. I think—in spite of the fact that I now live less than a mile away—I need to map out a two-hour fun, restorative way to get home.
