Tropical Dragon
½ cup dragon fruit chunks
½ oz lime juice
2 oz pineapple juice
¾ oz coconut cream
1½ oz Blended Lightly Aged Rum ❷
Garnish: pineapple frond, orchid
Method: Add the rum and dragon fruit chunks into a shaker and muddle. Add the remaining ingredients, crushed ice, and either blend or shake hard until frost forms on the tin. Open pour and garnish.
I've had this one on my reshake list for a while, so when dragon fruit showed up at my grocery store I picked the nicest looking one and went home with it. To my surprise it was red inside! I've never seen a red one in Europe (plenty in Asia but never here). So, I ditched the plan of using the fruit as my vessel and instead went for a glass. Also to my luck, my white orchid plant is blooming right now which is a nice contrast to the impossibly pink drink. Originally by IG thevibeistropical.
