Lots of drama here this week.
Sunday night, a fox made off with our neighbor's prettiest muscovy duck, causing much sorrow.
Tuesday, the neighbor's overworked husband had a mini-meltdown after being asked to (properly) re-fence the duck enclosure.
Wednesday, the drake broke the leg of the surviving female, who is now being put down, although the vet doesn't understand why my neighbors don't just eat her.
Now the drake needs either a new female, a new home, or a serving platter.
