I’m so freaking eepy today but I’m slowly catching up on stuff.

I was out of the house for a longgggg time yesterday, though, which was cool – and got some adulty stuff done I had been putting off. I also met a very cool friend of Emerson’s and had a GREAT time with both of them.

Well, it is NOT an ovarian cyst on the LEFT side. Ultrasound found a small one on the right, but that appears to be relatively normal and causing no issues at the moment. About to go back for a CT scan to investigate cause of pain further. -Allēna

Inside my high contrast black and white workstation rebuild. I have been pacing myself but... flonk. Despite thinks not being in perfect cable tidy state yet, it looks very clean. White case and jet black most else. I have always liked the look of this particular case. It gives stormtrooper vibes. Everything is in place. But I have no energy to go into detail. It's clean. It's sharp. And I want it to be over already. 😴

Inventory phase complete at bare minimums. Now to take all that data and massage it into a vaguely acceptable shelved storage plan. Today? Idk. Need break first. Ugh.

My guinea pig named Coffeecake is completely asleep, splooted on his side like a dead piggy in his little hidey corner; however, his eyes are frozen open in terror as if he were wide awake.

The top layer of the bedding is grey square fleece bedding, and the second, softer layer (which he has pulled out and laid on top of) is yellow on the visible underside.

It is normal for guinea pigs to sleep with their eyes open so they can keep a look out for predators. This is also typical of Coffeecake since he is the one I like to pick up and cuddle with, and many terrifying vet visits have conditioned him to fear The Claw. He also is not the dominant piggy in his cage despite his best efforts, and he gets bullied a ton by Oreo. In short, there's lots of reasons for him to sleep with his eyes open.

i just had an idea which is to sleep with ice packs on my hands so i can have a warm blanket and also cold body temperature

@jame there is a local computer repair guy in my area and i asked him if i could have some computers and. he gave them to me. like for free. i had a big dumb smile haha. i still haven’t gotten them working. okay well i mean i got one of them to turn on and stuff but i ended up giving it to someone alonside the charger i boight for the computers and i will need a new charger to use any of them and one of them i thought i didn’t have the right obscure charger but it turned out that the charging port was just in a spot i would have never considered and so like they’ve just been sitting there i guess so yeah i should get a new charger for the 2000s craptops
