Tant que je peux continuer à acheter des pièces détachées pour mon Fairphone 3 de 2019 et que /e/ (#efoundation ) continue à mettre à jour le système, je serais satisfait.
(un nouveau modèle, c'est toujours la crainte que le modèle qui est de l'autre côté de la gamme soit abandonné…)
Gisteren de Sreenrecorder app 'RecordYou' geïnstalleerd op mijn Murena telefoon. Echter ik krijg geen beeld, alles blijft zwart. Dat was ook zo met de voorheen in /e/OS aanwezige standaard Sreenrecorder. Nu heb ik 'XRecorder' draaien, maar ben niet tevreden. Wie weet een goede, liefst OpenSource screenrecorder?

@hund @kaffekod Det kontroversiella i sammanhanget är väl hur Google och Android fungerar och det faktum att man knappt kan leva sitt liv utan att ge bort sin själ till Google (alternativt Apple).
#efoundation har i mitt tycke gjort ett lovvärt jobb - om än inte perfekt - för att ge folk ett alternativ.
Självfallet ska du inte använda #eos om du inte litar på E-foundation - precis som jag inte litar på Google och därför (så gott det går) väljer bort deras tjänster.

Anyone out there have a #Pixel tablet they aren't using? I'd likely be able to pay shipping, but as I'm currently not receiving income, I won't be able to pay ebay prices I've been seeing recently.
I want a tablet to try out #eos on and use as a daily driver for job applications, media consumption etc before I think about moving my #pixel8 to it.

Depuis hier, mon smartphone est de nouveau sous /e/OS, l'Android dégooglé de la #eFoundation. Ma tentative précédente s'était soldée par un échec (voir https://mapstodon.space/@jeremy/114115699165943527). Cette fois-ci, on dirait que c'est la bonne : tout fonctionne très bien.

Il y a quelques années, j'avais tenté une installation de e/OS sur un smartphone. J'avais été refroidi par une fonction photo rendue impossible par une ou des applis qui mettaient plusieurs (trop) longues secondes à s'initialiser, et gelaient régulièrement. Pour moi, c'était bloquant, et je n'avais pas persévéré.
Quelqu'un par ici aurait des retours d'usage sur e/OS aujourd'hui ? Si les retours sont bons, notamment sur l'usage photo, je retenterais bien.

Nogle danske brugere af e/os/ herinde? Jeg har et problem med #mobilepay, jeg kan ikke logge på - det går galt efter indtastning af mit-id-nøgle-kode.
Jeg kan i øvrigt logge på andre sites med mit-id, både med duckduckgo og firefox, men jeg tror mobilepay bruger den indbyggede browser.
Min telefon er en #fairphone #FP3, OS er #e_os 2.7-t-20250111460957-official-FP3.
Hvis nogen har det lignende setup hvor mobilepay virker, er jeg interesseret i oplysninger.
