Well then, let me give a tip of the hat to another splendid European app @Tutanota The team behind this one is doing a bang-up job, and they deserve a pat on the back. I've personally given their email app a whirl, and they've got a calendar app too. It's the perfect blend of usability, privacy, and security, all without costing an arm and a leg. Here I am writing a blog post, like it’s 2004! And what am I writing about? I moved in to a new email app. This really feels like blogging circa 2004. Partly because #blogging, but also 'cause I haven’t felt like I needed to think about #email applications in about that long. But – web apps being web apps, and the internet of today being what it is – here we are again.

Because my mail client Postbox isn't maintained anymore, I am looking for an alternative client. Ideally I'd love to see a client with a command palette (⌘ + K), but it would be enough if I can move emails and change folders only via keyboard.
I’m on macOS. Any suggestions?
My older #photoGallery and #emailApp are not very good in their modern form.
Reading a bit I'm thinking either "F-Stop Gallery" or "Gallery Go" will be new choices.
And on email it sounds like K-9 is FOSS, popular and stable… though somewhat low on updates. Could be that it's just finished. I mean at some point, an app just does email properly and doesn't need much more than bug fixes. (I'm hoping).
