Pour contexte, j'ai vu les copines faire de la broderie, ça m'a troooop donné envie.

Après deux kits pour apprendre des points de base, je teste de dessiner un motif sur du papier hydrosoluble (en copiant évidemment Miyazaki dont la moitié des persos peuplent ma chambre) et de broder par dessus.

Une main qui tient un support de broderie sur lequel on voit une broderie entamé de deux personnages de dessin animé qui ressemblent à des boules noires avec des yeux. Un des personnages n'est pas brodé du tout et est juste dessiné au crayon.

I am sure I am not the first to discover this technique... Loading up 8 separate needles before plunging into an hour of work.

Turns out, the part that takes the most time is cutting, splitting and threading the floss. When you prep as much of it as possible, embroidering goes with next to no interruptions!

I feel like I opened a door to a new world today.
