Experienced #Polyamorous people of the Fedi, I need some #advice and #support. #Poly newb here; please be honest but gentle.

An incredibly cute and lovely human and fellow student has walked into my life, and I am verry much smitten. We're just getting to know each other and feeling out the vibes. With that being said, if things go the way I'd like them to, I want to ask them out with every fiber of my being. that means they'll have to find out I'm poly at some point, and that scares the hell out of me because what if that blows up my chances or otherwise backfires? I know it's stupid and that this is the chance you take, but still... makes my stomach squirm. Also, worth mentioning that for my own safety, the people around me do not know that I am poly.

So, my question is: how do y'all gage whether or not potential love interests are open to #polyamory without being obvious about it? Any subtle hints or questions I could drop to feel things out so to speak? Would rather not get my hopes up too much. Or, am I thinking/going about this the entirely wrong way? Again, any advice or support would be fantastic.

So y'all know how I appealed to the mods of r/R4r to get unbanned so I could post what I thought was an entirely innocuous post about looking for an FWB or partner? We are going to require verification in this case. Note that publicly posting verification is optional, we do permit it to be sent here directly in modmail if you wish.

Couples/groups must provide verification for all parties described in the post; ideally in the same clip, but they can also be done separately.

Record a short, at least 10-second video clip of you slowly crumpling the paper into a ball, and straightening it back out. The crumpling and straightening action must be fully shown on the video, in reasonable quality and good lighting, and the text on the paper must be legible at the start and end of the clip. The clip must show enough of yourself, at least shoulders to knees in a normal standing or seated position, for people to be able to recognize you are who you say you are; don't make it an extreme closeup or obscure most of yourself.

If you have publicly posted photos of your face, you must also also perform face verification in the same clip. Hold up your verification card to fully obscure your eyes, nose, and mouth for a moment, and then slowly move it away; your covered face remain within frame during this entire action, and be fully visible before and after. Face verification is not required if you don't intend to publicly post pictures of your face. For couples/groups, everyone with a publicly posted face pic must do this.

If recording with the front camera, check your settings beforehand to ensure the text is not mirrored; if this is not possible, use the rear camera instead. Do not edit the video in any way whatsoever; if you need to adjust the cropping, length, or remove something from view, do another clip instead.

Verification that is strictly *S*afe *F*or *W*ork may be hosted on either Imgur.com or Gfycat.com, and must be tagged [Verified SFW]. Clips containing nudity are not currently permitted due to lack of any suitable host, and must be tagged [Verified Nude]. We recommend making your verification clip SFW, and verification must not contain any pornographic or excessively explicit content. Post the verification in a comment on your post (not within the post itself); if you have additional photos, you may also include these in the same comment, after the verification link. Well that lasted a *loooooong* time. For context, I'm blind and use a screen reader on my phone. Tried to make a #Feeld #dating profile. I get to the “This is your space to be unfiltered” screen... and I can't tell if I'm checking any of the boxes. I could troubleshoot this into the ground and find some fuck ass workaround but I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO! And I have absolutely no one in my irl life who I'd ask to help me fill this out, and again, I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO THAT. This should be #accessible to #blind people and #ScreenReader users. #Disabled people date, have sex, and live all over the spectrum of lifestyles just like everyone else. Being disabled by places meant for people who are already #marginalized really sucks. And worst of all, I can't find a way to contact Feeld about this.
