I never got this tax, punish the consumer by making them pay a tax the large supermarket conglomerate should pay themselves for supplying non or barely recyclable bags.

@paulthenerd well done for doing the best you can to plant-base your diet. I can’t advise on alternatives to butter that avoid palm oil as I don’t have any need to use them. I agree that #palmoil should be avoided. I’ve seen for myself the tropical forest destruction, habitat deprivation & mono-cropped deserts it can cause. However, the production of #dairy products has a range of #enviromental impacts too. Furthermore, it exploits & harms #sentient beings needlessly.
