@abcfeeds based upon #albanese s last term I’m going with big reform is not going to occur. To be honest I doubt small reform is going to happen either. We will have 4 years of tweaking and shoring up votes. So like the crappy half arsed federal #icac we got in the last term we will get crappy half arsed #environmemt, crappy half arsed #tax and crappy half arsed #defence. The guy isn’t actually into making big decisions or visions. #labor #auspol

I don't know but I think we should focus more on thinking through the consequences of things and less on grabbing the first solution that makes some very rich corporation richer!
Deep sea mining might be logical and necessary, but letting an under regulated gold rush just happen can't be the way to do it!

@drrimmer Wealth looking after its own at the expense of the little people??? Its been like that since the Ancient Egyptians. Its just bigger nowadays with global catastrophic consequences: socially financially environmentally.

We've always assumed the biggest danger would come when nations would go rogue and attack one another, bc that's how it's been up to now.

There's a new danger emerging: super corporations wielding colossal power over people and governments internationally across borders. Especially in energy, food, water, drugs and agriculture. Plus the power of the money markets that facilitate that wealth and power and bring down governments they don't agree with. All UNELECTED.

I think we have more to fear from unelected super corps in the near future than we realise
