#Korea ist heutzutage in aller Munde. Aber 1998, als ich mit eSports/Gaming startete, das erste eigene Team gründete OK, es war damals eine Ally (Allianz), aber 2001 war es wirklich ein #esport Team. Auf jeden Fall bin ich über eSport auf Korea gestoßen, in dem sich damals ebenfalls der eSport entwickelte. Allerdings sehr viel schneller und größer als im Rest der Welt. Durch diesen Kontakt habe ich die Entwicklung Koreas seit 27 Jahren im Auge und war wenig überrascht, über den koreanischen Boom

📚️ Quake 3 Arena (Q3A) doesn't follow on from the storyline of its predecessor, Quake2, it's an FPS without a storyline - except for this one, by way of introduction: “The greatest warriors of all time fight for fun in a race called the Vadrigar in the Eternal Arena. It is e-sports oriented, i.e. fast-paced multiplayer battles (human and/or AI) in arenas, according to various Mods, competing against other players (or AIs) with the aim of eradicating them or capturing the opponent's flag. Quake3e is a fork of the ioQuake3 engine, a source port of id Software's id Tech 3 engine (Quake 3 Arena, Call of Duty, Quake Live, ...), i.e. a derivative, libre, multi-platform, enhanced and compatible engine. It fixes numerous bugs and brings significant performance, security and functionality enhancements (Vulkan & SDL2 backend support, optimized OpenGL rendering, redesigned QVM, improved protection against denial-of-service attacks, improved memory allocation, file system limits, ...).

Spelkultur kan vara flera olika saker. Dataspelskultur är inte detsamma som rollspelskultur eller sällskapsspelskultur. Rollspelskultur är i sig själv många olika saker. Det kan vara fantasylajv, medeltidslajv eller nåt liknande, det kan vara Nordisk LARP (Nordic LARP), bordsrollspel med många olika iriktningar osv.

📚️ AQtion (formerly Action Quake 2) is a mature arena FPS (it had given birth to Counter-Strike), single(AI)/multi (online/local) libre and multi-platform, focusing on arcade gameplay with street fighting and semi-realistic damage (localized damage causing bleeding or paralysis, requiring bandages to return to combat). The arsenal is light (knife, pistol, assault rifle, shotgun, MP5/10 SMB, sniper rifle, grenades, hand cannon) and can be accessorized (laser sights, silencers) as well as the protagonists (kevlar vests, helmets, stealth slippers). The game features over 600 maps and 6 game modes (Death Match, Capture the Flag, Team Play, Team Death Match, Offline, Espionage).

O prosze - potwierdzilo sie, ze zycie nie znosi prozni. #ESL wycofalo sie z organizowania rozgrywek #CounterStrike na poziomie krajowym, wiec proznie te wypelnil... #Betclic - ten sam, ktory sponsoruje m.in. 1. lige pilki noznej.

I mozna sie oburzac, ze hurr durr, bukmacherka, ale wole zeby takie rozgrywki organizowal Betclic niz zeby ich w ogole nie bylo, albo zeby sie za to zabral ktos od krypto albo jakas szemrana stronka od skorek do CS-a. ;)

Pomijajac kwestie, ze bez rozgrywek na poziomie krajowym polska scena sie po prostu zwinie i nie bedzie tak utalentowanych zawodnikow jak #jcobbb chociazby. 🤷
Teraz jeszcze niech ktos ratuje scene zenskiego CS-a. 🙏
