Programs designed to counter violent extremism, or even provide basic mental health and social support, are far less available outside metropolitan centres. I am not sure how many people have heard of #thelondoninitiative . It appears to be an attempt to promote an alternative world view from the #ethnonationalism of #BelazelSmotrich #BenyamínNetanyahu and #itamarbengvir - a view it describes as 'Liberal Zionism' . While recognising - reasonably enough - that some protests against the actions of #israel have had #antisemitic overtones and thus caused legitimate fears among #Jews its main thrust appears to be towards promoting change in #israel .
