#ArtAdventCalendar In my childhood, I dreamed of having a cute, small and real dragon in our garden. I imagined dragons to be green (and did I say cute?). For my first bigger embroidery I tried to paint with the needle. Even adults could use dragon power!

A later state of the embroidery in a round embroidery hoop. The outlines are stitched with simple running stitch in dark red and yellow. As I come from drawing, I fill the dragon like I would colour a sketch on paper. I started with a bright yellow green. To give the dragon skin some texture, I use the needle to paint spots in different directions with this green and then add other shades of green next to them.

I can't say I have ever read Swedish that looks like this before, even if it does come from Finland.

In cases where I would expect ng, the first glyph looks like a mix of y, g, and perhaps ƞ. This gives the impression of double g in such a bad reproduction of the text.

In some cases, the o appears to have an internal stroke from the left.

Schwa (ə) appears to be a regular letter.

There are perhaps two values of å, one of which has an incomplete ring.

I love the spelling "ién" for regular Swedish "en".

And the mirror does not have a dialect, but speaks standard Swedish. Lovely.
