[P] I also don't think Avellone is too bright. I like Fallout 3 a lot, actually, but Avellone didn't back then—he was vocal about it. Why did bis opinion change? He's been desperately, shamelssslu simping for Bethesda in the hopes that they'll hire him on as a writer. All while dumping on the TV series. He thinks the TV show is Microsoft's doing for some reason, but it's actually Todd Howard's baby! Way to shoot yerself in the foot, Avvy. Good grief.

[P] You didn't just "work on" Fallout 2, fellah, you co-lead it! Its many lore problems are your own bloody fault! It also proves that Avellone was tbe reason why Fallout 2 was so terrible, because he actually didn't have any involvement with Fallout 1! And Fallout 1 was far, far, far better for it. Fuck, even Tactics objectively had less lore inconsistencies and it was more intelligently msde as a game. 2 was his hot mess!

[P] Haahaha... Oh Nelly. I mean, Avellone trashing FO2 and talking about its actual worldbu8ldin & lore problems (the worst of any Fallout game) without mentioning he was the co-lead? Oh my gosh. He's either that shameless, or he believes his readers are that stupid. I don't normally experience anything like schadenfreude but... I'm incredulous at this. I think that amuses me. I don't often get to feel incredulous. I'm too cynical. But this has me beat!

[P] One last note on Fallout and Avellone: I'm tickled pink that Avellone is pissed at the TV show for doing things he had said (in many interviews) that he'd wanted to do. "Fallout? Without meeee?? Using MY ideas??? And writing them better than I ever could??? EGO-RAAAAGE!" He tries to play them off as bad ideas, and it's just... How the mighty have fallen, to tar and sully his own ideas for a little bit of media attention. Utterly shameless.
