🇬🇧 Maps are probably ttrpg player's favorite objects (with dice maybe). To illustrate, understand or simply imagine the scope of a universe, a good map is always an excellent game accessory.

This is my map of N'Taro, Okimba's world-continent. It's represented on 24 wooden slats joined together to form a complete picture. It also forms a foldable, easily transportable scroll, ideal for placing in the middle of the game table. The contours of the regions and the scenery are fully vectorized from the original illustration and reproduced by laser engraving. The coloring is done with tinted oil to guarantee excellent durability and resistance to possible shocks.

🇬🇧 Au rang des objets préférés des rolistes, on peut facilement mettre les cartes dans les premières positions. Que ce soit pour illustrer, comprendre ou tout simplement imaginer l’ampleur d’un univers, une bonne carte est toujours un excellent accessoire de jeu.

Voici donc ma carte de N’Taro, le continent-monde d’Okimba. Elle est représentée sur 24 lames de bois reliées les unes aux autres pour former un tableau complet. Elle forme également un rouleau pliable et facilement transportable, idéale à mettre au milieu de la table de jeu. Les contours des régions et les décors sont entièrement vectorisés depuis l’illustration originale et reproduits par gravure laser. La mise en couleur est effectuée à l’huile teintée afin de garantir une excellente tenue dans le temps et une résistance à d’éventuels chocs ou renversements de boissons.

Black and white, digitally hand-drawn portal fantasy map. It depicts a coastal sea of Caldera, and country of Lexanard bordering Payettek and Doyemere. In the sea dwells a tentacle monster right next to the neat compass in the right lower corner.

Lexanard depicts places like Ashfort, a withered village that has been ravaged many a time, and Silverstone mine - both in the left upper corner of the country. Below them are the Flower Fields full of flora that is hungry to eat people, and a portal the begins the story of the book. Below that at the coast is city of Laeford, with a port below it with a lighthouse leading the way. Behing the lighthouse are clark meadows, village of Candle Cove, and a little lake that connects to the sea by a Raging River that has dangerous crocodiles living in it.

Above Candle Cove is Zackick, a town made of temporary dwellings, like tents. Above that is the capital city of Lexanard, known as Redadore. The city is grand with great dome-like towers and grand bridges and walkways.

On the middle right of Lexanard, right by the border before Doyemere is Saincaster, a quaint little town with a small lake right next to it.

All of the main places are connected with various type of roads from mainroads, to common roads and smaller trails.

The map looks cozy, with individually drawn trees of various kinds - leafy greens and firs dot the landscape.

The titlework is also hand drawn and inspired by the author's description of their world.

The surrounding sea depicts a galley in the center left, a whale at center right, and two dolphins at the bottom center. Locations on the map top to bottom depicts places like: Iceburg, The Holy Empire, Holy City, Yellow Ford, Jungle Fortress, Anoeira, and more. There are multiple types of vegetation from icy tundra, to jungle, and desert. Each tree and forest is hand-drawn one by one. The style is inspired by Tolkien.

Back to the magical land of Nicea, I’m working on the line work for the jungles to the East, an excuse to draw lots of dinosaurs in the dense rainforest. It’s for dungeons and dragons so the land need to invite exploration. The jungle is criss crossed by rivers, with tall rock formations and mysterious ziggurats.
