Black and White, large fantasy map.
Depicts one large land mass, Kingdoms of Aetherium in the middle, and beginning of another to the left called The Fjordlands. All of the kindoms are pointed with white, flowing banners with hand written texts. The map depicts tall mountains like the Dragon's Teeth, a large lake, Shadow Fen, large masses of forests where each tree is drawn one-by-one, cities, one active volcano, and somewhat 3D coastline that rises and lowers basd on the elevation. In the three seas are two monsters - a siren, and tentacles of a Kraken. Each detail is perfectly designed for the client's tastes and story needs. In the bottom right is a stylized compass with a flowing banner fabric behind it.

Locations on the map top to bottom depicts places like: Iceburg, The Holy Empire, Holy City, Yellow Ford, Jungle Fortress, Anoeira, and more. There are multiple types of vegetation from icy tundra, to jungle, and desert. Each tree and forest is hand-drawn one by one. The style is inspired by Tolkien.

While suffering from a bug over the weekend I decided, for no obvious reason other than that I was too tired to go outside, to redo a map I made several years ago. The colour choices in the original were extremely awful.

Made in Inkscape with a little tweaking in Gimp at the end. And how I love Gimp's new non-destructive editing!

🇬🇧 Maps are probably ttrpg player's favorite objects (with dice maybe). To illustrate, understand or simply imagine the scope of a universe, a good map is always an excellent game accessory.

This is my map of N'Taro, Okimba's world-continent. It's represented on 24 wooden slats joined together to form a complete picture. It also forms a foldable, easily transportable scroll, ideal for placing in the middle of the game table. The contours of the regions and the scenery are fully vectorized from the original illustration and reproduced by laser engraving. The coloring is done with tinted oil to guarantee excellent durability and resistance to possible shocks.

Voici donc ma carte de N’Taro, le continent-monde d’Okimba. Elle est représentée sur 24 lames de bois reliées les unes aux autres pour former un tableau complet. Elle forme également un rouleau pliable et facilement transportable, idéale à mettre au milieu de la table de jeu. Les contours des régions et les décors sont entièrement vectorisés depuis l’illustration originale et reproduits par gravure laser. La mise en couleur est effectuée à l’huile teintée afin de garantir une excellente tenue dans le temps et une résistance à d’éventuels chocs ou renversements de boissons.
