Three good things:
1. My oldest, despite working until 2am, got up and had a Father's Day breakfast with me and the rest of our family. He did promptly go back to bed afterwards but I understand that.
2. My local gym has installed body wash dispensers in each shower cubicle so I don't have to remember to bring some each time I use the showers there.
3. The weather in #Perth may be crap today but people were still out with umbrellas and picnic blankets out at Pinnaroo Memorial Park sharing time with family since passed and the biggest congregation of kangaroos north of Perth Zoo.

Catching up with my dad and family for lunch later today. Trying my hand at baking a sponge cake this morning. Not my usual thing, and my mum has set a high standard, so I'll see how it goes. I do have a shop one as a backup plan 🙂

Good morning tooters & what a storm we had overnight, lots of thunder & lightning ⚡️ ⛈️ & very warm. I don’t know what time it started but I woke with the rumbling & a blinding headache which I put down to the storm. Headache has gone this morning but I can feel where it’s been, if that makes sense & my eyes are heavy. A shower will sort that all out. It’s nice & fresh outside & will be warm again today reaching about 23c
Happy Father’s Day to all who wish to celebrate it & to those who wish they could but can’t for whatever reason. I admit I do enjoy seeing my own grandkids give their Dads home made cards & gifts, some bought at the schools Father’s Day stall. I can also remember my daughter making me a Father’s Day card because she said I was doing both which had me very emotional at a time when life was pretty difficult.
My brother has his own family visiting for a pizza 🍕 dinner today & my niece is picking me up around lunchtime for another attempt at visiting my older brother. This will be the last time I can so 🤞🏼.
