"Sacred #Jewish texts almost always refer to God using masculine imagery and grammar. God is routinely referred to with #male metaphors — Father, Lord, King — and with male pronouns. #Hebrew being a #gendered #language, references to God are nearly always conjugated with masculine verbs and pronouns. The standard formulation for a Jewish blessing, Barukh atah adonai (Blessed are you God), uses the male form of you (atah) and refers to God as melekh (king). Dann können Männer auch Frauen diesen Schutz nehmen.

Das ist der Grundsatz hinter „Trans-Rechte sind Menschenrechte“.
Unabhängig davon, wie ihr zur Frage steht, ob Trans-Menschen „wirklich“ das Geschlecht haben, mit dem sie sich identifizieren – die gleichen grundlegenden Menschenrechte, die uns schützen, sind auch die Basis für die Befreiung von Frauen: körperliche Selbstbestimmung, Würde, Gleichberechtigung und Schutz vor Gewalt.
Und genau diese Rechte wollen viele Männer verzweifelt abschaffen.

I think the issue is not men in themselves but the institutionally-built culture in which they live (what we #Feminists call "The #Patriarchy"), which demands they never show any sort of vulnerability, and denies them the status of victim, even of circumstances far beyond their control.

This is exacerbated when the people who rush to present themselves as "#Masculine Role Models" are incredibly toxic and narcissistic figures, such as #AndrewTate or #JordanPeterson. These are the people who push "#ToxicMasculinity", the idea that men must force each other to hide their emotions and embody dark and violent traits that they have arbitrarily linked to being #male.

And yes, the rhetoric about "#AllMen" being bad in some way is making the situation worse, and needs to be rethought by anyone saying it, because yes, #NotAllMen are criminals: most just want to live their lives.

Young men and boys already have so much working against them, they don't need more from us.

@SmudgeTheInsultCat i've recently taken to calling myself non-binary; i hope the threat of being cancelled for criticising the #gender stuff deterers the #feminists. I'm a bio-male, who despises sex-based slanderous accusations.
