I've finally started the christmas stocking for my small kiddo in the style of the ones my mémère made for the whole family.

She can’t knit anymore, and I haven’t been able to see her for... a few years now. This project is very sentimental, and my skills are not doing this pattern justice, but I'm feeling closer to her 💛

She may not remember me, but I'll always cherish her memory.

It wears a flower crown and sits on some yellow and orange flowes, surounded by golden and blue leaves. The blue leaves aren't finished yet, the big flowers in the middle are almost finished.

Man tydeligt se hvor den er samlet mellem strik og tunesisk hækling men tror at vask og brug vil jævne det ud. Er okay tilfreds. Nu skal jeg bare strikke ryg og ærmer. Tror desværre ikke jeg har garn nok i samme farve så ryggen bliver nok multi farvet. Og det er os okay.

På en lys sofa ved vinduet ligger på ryglænet forsiden af en sweater. Den er mest mørkerød/rustrød og i midten er der fair isle motiv med teksten “eat the Rich”. I motivet er der også et par kranier.

More black! I already started a few stitches in ebony, but you barely see the contrast as it is a very dark brown.

I'm starting my next embroidery project: a linen blouse in a folk cut with big bell sleeves perfect for embroidery.

I googled around for #Belarusian cross stitch patterns and found this incredible resource: a book published in 1877(!) of Belarusian and Ukrainian patterns. I really love the squirrels, and there are some excellent cats in there.

He's surrounded by some purple flowers and some blue-ish leaves. Some more leaves and flowers in the lower half have the first stitches as well.
