Kann deine Einschätzung 100% verstehen. Ich habe mich für die Option Vpn only entschieden, da die Apps den letzten Stand cachen.
Geräte mit Addin (Notebook) ist in meinem Fall immer mit über Vpn mit meinem Exit Node verbunden. Dadurch habe ich weitere Features wie Web Filter und meine heimische Firewall.

Generell habe ich folgende Ideen:

- #cloudflare Zero Trust Tunnel mit Access-Filter

Replacing my 2019 Yubico YubiKey 5 NFC and 5Ci with YubiKey 5C NFC variants. This time with a custom #YubiStyle

The Double Rainbow variant will be my daily driver. The Red key will serve as the backup key in case the rainbow variant breaks.

Now migrating all services from my old keys to the new keys. Lucky for me, I have documented all uses of my old keys.

@matthiasdrexel ich muss da etwas weiter ausholen 😉 Angefangen hat es alles ich glaube das war so 1995 mit den #Mailbox Treffen der Katel-Box in #NeustadtamRübenberge (#Fido 2:2437/15.23 😉 ). Da kann ich mich allerdings nur noch an den SysOp erinnern. Dann kamen einige Dinge, die ich zeitlich bestimmt nicht mehr in die richtige Reihenfolge bringe. Mailbox Treffen von der Words in Hamburg von @marcozehe, legendäre Treffen der #Cybergays anlässlich der #CeBIT in #Hannover, das müsste so zwischen 1997 und 2000 gewesen sein. Gleichzeitig ungefähr einmal im Monat Treffen unseres #IRC Channel #gay-hannover-linden, mit dem wir sogar mal im Fernsehen waren. Später gab es dann noch diverse #Google+ Treffen u.A. mit @rompe Ich hoffe, ich habe nichts vergessen. Also kann ich sagen, ich habe vielleicht so 100 Leute persönlich kennengelernt.

Could someone more knowledgeable explain why Non-resident passkeys need to have a username to make them work? Like, why can't the credential itself be it's own identifying factor if it's being generated deterministically anyway?
