The film club I'm a member of is expanding its scope due to us having watched most of the good post-apocalyptic films (we noticed that the scores had been trending down for the last year).

It is online-only, 19:30 UK time (UTC+1 at the moment) every other Thursday. We watch the film in our own time before and then meet to discuss for 90 minutes.

I dette grensesprengende dokudramaet satt til New York utspilles en feministisk futurisme som gir urovekkende gjenklang i dagens politiske landskap.

Lizzie Bordens Born in Flames er en pulserende radikal og antikapitalistisk film om arbeid. Om kvinner som prøver å kjempe seg inn i tradisjonelle mannlige arbeidsplasser som bygningsarbeid. Om det å få mindre penger for den samme jobben, og hvordan en skal organisere seg om det er tilfelle. Funker samarbeid? Hva skjer om en bestemmer seg for gripe til våpen for ivareta det en mener er ens grunnleggende rettigheter?

Dette er et opprop til aksjonisme, og et glitrende eksempel på kraftfull nullbudsjetts geriljafilmskaping.
