played a mission in #fireemblem warriors. took a screenshot of an achievement and the game froze. thankfully it had saved because my gold, levels, and memento I was grinding for were all there.

played a little #sadame after that. someone said the samurai was OP but I've had better luck with the ninja. maybe that's because of drops.

Also I found out that Normal mode on Radiant Dawn is in fact hard mode.

So yes, I managed a hard mode playthrough, without taking any of the laguz royals into the endgame! Yay me.

I definitely only ever played this on the actual Wii in easy mode only both times, because I don't think I could have clocked normal without save states with my sanity intact! 😆

I have no qualms about using save states.

As others said. It’s indeed true. It’s likely caused because they actually changed the difficulties in the previous game, Path of Radiance. PoR in Japanese had Normal, Hard, Maniac. For the EU/US releases they actually removed Maniac mode and added a new Easy mode, so in PoR, Easy Normal and Hard are correct.

Apparently when they translated Radiant Dawn they wanted to keep the naming, but this time they didn’t change the actual difficulties, which are now Normal/Hard/Maniac but called Easy/Normal/Hard.

(Fun bonus fact: Importing an Easy PoR save game into the first release of Radiant Dawn was broken because they didn’t account for that western-only difficulty.)

i picked up #dynastywarriors 7 xtreme legends definitive edition tonight in the #koeitecmo sale on #steam.

it's a nice game but after playing #fireemblem warriors and dynasty warriors gundam 3, i really don't like it as much as those games. i think i just have a lot of nostalgia for the old dynasty warriors titles and i should probably enjoy these crossovers and let that nostalgia stay in the past.
