ロシアからドローン攻撃を受けているウクライナの東の前線で、魚網がドローンを捕まえために使われている。それらは、北極海近くの港から使い古しの網が届く。スウェーデンの非営利団体はデンマークなどとも協力し、今年250トンの網を提供した。動くモノすべてを標的として攻撃してくる大量のロシア軍ドローン、縫い合わされた網目の細かい魚網がプロペラを絡めて攻撃を効果的に妨害する。ロシア軍はワイヤレス通信を妨害してドローン攻撃を避ける防御をかいくぐるため、、光ファイバーでつないだリモコンドローンを多用する。魚網はこの種のドローンとても有効な対抗手段。
