For those of you who've ever had a #vinyl #music collection, do you ever listen to an old #song and expect to hear the skips that plagued that song? I love to listen to entire albums -- a largely lost art -- and today's commute home is Mirage by #FleetwoodMac. At one point, that was one of only 5 or 6 albums I owned, and I loved it, so I listened to it a lot. The skips in a few of those songs were permanently etched into my long-term memory.

Listening to ‘Mirage’, which is Fleetwood Mac playing it safe after the experimentalism* of ‘Tusk’. And good. I love ‘Tusk’, but I also love well produced, gorgeously catchy pop rock, too. Gets overlooked for not being as sensational as ‘Rumours’ or unconventional as ‘Tusk’, but for any other band ‘Mirage’ would be the Big One.
*wasn’t that experimental, just less radio friendly.
