Free to a good home: I found some MiniCAD floppies and manuals. I'm pretty sure my USB floppy drive only reads high density floppies, so I haven't been able to confirm that the disks are still usable. 💾 :apple_inc:

😎🤓 #throwback #win98 #floppydisk
A floppy disk that is actually just a whole bunch of SD (or microSD) cards wired together inside a plastic shell to make it identical to an actual floppy disk from the outside, which gets inserted into a FDD that is actually a specially shaped USB (or other protocol, depending on what enables the fastest speeds for the least complexity) port designed to read/write data from/to the floppySD.
EDIT: It has found a home!
Sorry for the bad photo, but I have an original Tour of the Macintosh SE floppy, still in the plastic. Copyright 1988. The back of the label says "This product was developed using VideoWorks Interactive, a product of MacroMind Inc. :apple_inc:

Speaking of well-known floppy disk brands, everyone knows Sony developed the 3.5" diskette, but do you know who developed the standard 2MB high density diskette in particular?
Here's a hint - they're still around, were never a huge tech company, and you can buy their products at nearly any convenience store or pharmacy.
Ah yes, the very well-known manufacturer, CH. Their products began appearing everywhere starting in the late 80s. Curiously, they only ever produced high density 3.5" floppy diskettes.
Another awesome contribution by @Telev - Microsoft Flight Simulator v2.10A for IBM-PC CGA. A gem from 1984... almost as old as I am! 😜

Epic Pinball for MS-DOS has always been on of my favourite pinball games! I've always known this as a collection of multiple tables. Only recently did I find out these tables were also sold separately. As separate products. Each table with their own unique cover art!
Here are a few of these disks: https://archive.org/details/epic-pinball-individual-table-releases-from-bn-companies
This is epic... pinball. Epic Pinball! 😃

Today, I could finally dump a German 3.5inch floppy disk set of Windows 3.0... not the updated v3.00a, but the original from 1990. I was 7 years old back when this was released. 😜
P.S. I just realized, disk 7 was missing from the photo, as it was still in the disk drive. But, of course, I will upload all of the disks to the Internet Archive a.s.a.p.
P.S.S. Here are complete scans and disk images:

I just don't trust today's international politics and global tech giants anymore. That's why keeping regular, local backups of major retro collections from the Internet Archive is so important. You can never know what's going to happen next.

Wahnsinn!
