One of our last “Mr. Lincoln” roses. Picked after a light rain. Mr. Lincoln, is imo the pinnacle of red roses. Long stemmed grandiflora, blossoms with a real red velvet look to them. For today's #SilentSunday I am going with a white hibiscus in full bloom from the terrace parterre that seemed to have forgotten both the spring and summer are a now a thing of the past. But who am I to question whether it would want to bloom and showcase its full glory with those bright and intense white, red and yellow colours when it's just so pretty? 🌺😍👍🏻

Today is a celebration day. One I won't forget too easily. A very special person in my life was given another chance at life itself exactly a year ago. A horrifying experience to go through due to someone else's negligence, but despite all of that, despite all of the ugliness behind it all, beauty will eventually resurface. Always, making its way through to you to show you what's really important in this life and the next... The small things ... 🥰

Here is an example to celebrate beauty around us, even in the midst of the darkest times, the rosebush in the terrace parterre is having a bit of a quiet time at the moment, resting, regaining momentum and energy, and, yet, it still has got time to show off its beautiful flowers in full bloom, because, they, too, have a purpose: Life 🌹😍👍🏻

Success numera uno. Second day of my porridge with fuitiness breakfast

Did a print out on my new printer and created two photocopies. And that was (relatively) easy. Success number 2

Planted 3 more winter pansies. Some of you may know pansy is colloquial English for poof (derogatery). So be it. My flowers are Mx Pansies, one and allah :blobpride:
...and that be three

I would send in a pic. But can not be asked, documenting every moment of my life events. Also saves me doing an alt for the unsightly or slightly sited, who might like to know they were in a pink pot and came in three different colours.

Anyway. When they are growing, speghetti monster willing, I might with pride post... (seven more to plant. Probably tomorrow...)
