A corridor in a semicircle. The massive brick walls are painted white with a black border on the bottom. The left wall has a wall painting of a (presumably police-)uniformed man and woman sitting on a round table with the man apparently telling a story elbowed on the table and holding a glass in his right hand with the woman listening also having her richt elbow on the table. Their hats lie both on the table. To the right the wall has alcoves showing the thickness of the wall (80cm of solid brickwork.)

The Wesel Citadel (1688–1722, 1809) was once the largest fortification in the Rhineland. The citadel gate can be seen here.
