Temps popped to 94 and humidity to 77% for a feels-like of 104+! Go to the Fair?

Sadly I’d have let it stay in the bottle. Not a well-blended chocolate and hazelnut flavor, sharp edges and bitter flavors leave an unbalanced finish. Sweet but not pleasant. Not one of the better varieties.

Chocolate and nutty flavors don’t blend as well as one would hope, leaving a finish that has a burnt note to it. Sweet and only a hint of coffee. Was happy to find & try it, but not one of their better varietals.

Another bright day (I could get used to this) so another light(er) beer!

This #foundersBrewing Dirty Bastard seems a bit dirty with some particulate afloat in the bottle. It doesn’t seem to impact the malty sweet and fruity notes.

A dark pour and tan head, hints of coffee and chocolate in the nose. Coffee and a hint of sweet with a slight bitter finish (45IBU). The label speaks of graham crackers but I don’t taste it.

A good #porter but I’ll stick with KBS and Backwoods Bastard.
