Here's one I don't think I've tooted before: our trusty 1989 #Midas alongside its grandfather a #Frogeye #Sprite, taken on holiday in Cornwall around 1990.

Got this old #Suzuki drivetrain that I've always thought could be a good start for a #restomod project (1.6 liter, 4v sohc + J1 #Vitara / #Tracker / #Sidekick / #Escudo 2wd 5sp). IIRC ~100hp/tq

Which years / era of these cars were the most suspension performant and had the best creature comforts? I like both style front ends; late Sprite/Midget might be more #motorsport looking?

A silver Mazda MX-5 "Miata" with hardtop is standing in front of a brick house.

It's bumper and headlamps have been replaced with a bumper (or maybe better front mask) that looks like the front of an Austin-Healey Sprite "Frogeye" and the originally sleeping headlamps have been replaced with frog-eye alike fixed headlamps.

On the new front mask there's an adhesive, British number plate "L248 LUX" above the front grille.
