🤠 Dans Frontier Scum, on incarne des ordures : des tueurs, des voleurs, des opportunistes sans scrupules, prêts à tout pour survivre dans un Far West sans foi ni loi.

🎯 Cette fois, nos hors-la-loi sont engagés par un riche pied-tendre pour s’occuper d’une famille étrange et dérangeante. Le contrat est juteux… mais aussi particulièrement sanglant. Âmes sensibles s’abstenir…

Was reading the wonderful Frontier Scum adventure, Tides of Rot, and decided to roll up my own outlaw for fun. Meet Cadiver "Beef" Pokestear, a wily drifter who was arrested and hanged for picketing for the right to loiter - but the hanging rope snapped, so he still wears it around his neck as a symbol of defiance to any lawmen who come after him.

Spontan gestern Abend einen Charakter für das OldWest-RPG "Frontier Scum" ausgewürfelt. Eine #MörkBorg -Auskopplung.

Das war extrem spaßig: Mein Charakter ist jetzt eine Zigarre rauchende betrügerische Spielerin, die auf einem stoichen Muli unterwegs ist und immer Tee dabei hat. 🤠
Die Würfel von @MightyMightyDice waren sehr gut zu mir - zeigten mir sehr oft die richtigen Zahlen 😁

I'm happy I got to finish the year with a short creation of my own for a #FrontierScum winter game jam, in some downtime while I was on vacation.

Decided to make a quick bounty themed around Santa Claus. Something that could be handed out to the players, and that serves as inspiration for each GM to create their own unique session.

I know we're past the Christmas season, but we've got plenty of time to prepare for next year!

@Mellando @HeyeBodo Ich arbeite Zeit seit einiger Zeit an einem Mega-Dungeon für #FrontierScum und #FrontierScum nutzt das Label „Acid Western“, das ich sehr passend finde. Das ist eigentlich ein Filmgerne, dem „El Topo“ und „Dead Man Walking“ zugerechnet werden. Es geht also um eine absurde und meistens eher ruppige Spielart des Western. Der Fokus ist auf Protagonisten, die in einer feindlichen Umwelt nach Erlösung suchen. Das Erzähltempo und das Personal ist bewusst reduziert. 1/2

@HeyeBodo PS Das Megadungeon für #FrontierScum ist dadurch motiviert, dass zu einem Fantasy-Setting auch ein ordentlicher Dungeon gehört - und die sind im Western-Genre ansonsten eher rar.

@HeyeBodo In einer Runde leite ich #DeathInSpace , weil mit der prozessuale Ansatz und das implizierte Setting gefällt; in der andern Runde #BestLeftBuried , weil dies #ReachOfTheRoachgod eine fiese Grundnote verleiht. Mein eigenes Mega-Dungeon ist für #FrontierScum gedacht. Ach ja, ich habe da auch noch dieses Old School-Insel-Dings für #ShadowDark, wobei da das System eine relativ nachgeordnete Rolle spielt. Hauptsache irgendwas mit #OldSchool 😅
