Thanks to all the contributors of :bolic and for working on entirely free distributions:
gnu.org/distros/free-distros.h

https://gnusocial.federated-networks.org/attachment/15646 This is #Freedo. He is the literally meant cleaned up mascot for the libre kernel of #GNU-Linux. You can find out more about the project and  him of course following this link here: http://www.fsfla.org/ikiwiki/selibre/linux-libre/index.en.html

But there are also distributions using the libre kernel:

- #Trisquel (https://trisquel.info/)
-  #Parabole (https://www.parabola.nu/)
- #Hyperbola (https://www.hyperbola.info/)
- #gNewSense (http://www.gnewsense.org/)
- #Dragora (https://www.dragora.org)
- #Gnuinos (https://gnuinos.org)

Perhaps you could tryout those distributions? They are meant to be really "free as in freedom". When needed you could also do own modifications but perhaps think about how free your soft- and hardware is in reality. #Free-and-Libre #GNU-Linux #Thoughts
https://gnusocial.federated-networks.org/attachment/7361 And that's why we need more distributions like #Hyperbola, #Trisquel, #Parabola and #gNewSense. The reason? Easy to answer: Full proprietary software like the #Steam-client included within repositories from the start like here within #FerenOS? Wrong way from my point of view: It's all about the "freedom of choice". Yes, you COULD choose not installing this crappy software. But why even bothering and having instead some optional included method? Having repositories not being free from the ground up there won't be no REAL freedom.
