If a #GagOrder is violated there should be consequences. Maybe there will be a fine, maybe there will be multiple fines. Maybe if he does it a third time he will be held in contempt of court. Maybe if he does it a fourth time he might serve time in jail.

The thing about #EricAdams having a #GagOrder on him means he can't talk to witnesses. This is designed to stop #WitnessIntimidation.
As an indicted defendant he is under some pre-trial release conditions. One of which is that he does not have the same rights as somebody who is not under Federal indictment.
