Spring is the perfect time to forage wild garlic! Its tender leaves are bursting with flavour—ideal for making garlic butter (freeze it for later) or a punchy pesto. A seasonal treat that brings the wild into your kitchen! #foraging #wildgarlic #springrecipes #gardenchat

Sunshade companions: Sow turnips beside tall crops like peas, runner beans, sweetcorn, or tomatoes. Their shade keeps turnips cool and tender—no woody roots! Another tip: keep soil moist with mulch to help retain water and suppress weeds. Healthy roots = tastier harvests! #gardenchat #growyourown

I've been going through the press releases, scribbled notes and photos from the recent Garden Press Event. This rather lovely new clematis was just one of the things I saw.

Head over to my blog to read about the day: bit.ly/4bgGNn0

While I love the pretty pastel colours of sweet peas, I do think they need something darker to set them off. ‘Black Prince.’ Is doing the job beautifully.

This is the first proper vase of sweet peas of the season.

I don’t sow until January so they’re always a little later but this year they sulked in the cold spring.
