Hab jetzt bei Garmin Connect den Auftrag gestellt meine Daten zu löschen. Zur Verwaltung der Geräte kann man die App dann wohl trotzdem noch nutzen. Es werden dann eben nur keine Daten mehr von der Uhr abgerufen. Bin mal gespannt wie gut das klappt.

Hm, looks like I bought my current Wahoo Element bike computer 6 years ago. It's still going strong (I replaced its battery a few years back), but a #Garmin Edge 540 Solar on sale for $249 would make for a good upgrade. Color display, longer battery life, dual-band GPS/GNSS recording. I am afraid that eventually the Wahoo is going to fail. I'll ponder for a few more hours before making a decision. Does anybody have a 540 and opinions about it?

Another Wednesday CotR run on a cold but thankfully dry night. The morning was down to -4 degrees but closer to 4 by the evening after a day of sharp showers. Tomorrow night boat loading for Rutherford which is looking chilly but not Baltic.

An brief 11 km fun run late this afternoon. The snow that was forecast actually arrived, so we now have a really beautiful winter wonderland. #Running in the snow becomes more difficult the deeper it is, but it's also much more fun 😃

And after a run like this, you definitely know why good winter gear makes sense.

Unfortunately, that much snow in November often translates to no snow during Xmas, but I hope for the best ☃️

So, die Vivo gewinnt für mich. Bei gleicher Nutzung etwas bessere Akkulaufzeit (65% vs 59% nach ca. 33h parallelem Tragen). Telefonieren über die Uhr brauche ich wie gesagt nicht. Klar, die zusätzlichen Sensoren der 3s wären nice to have, aber ich entscheide mich da für die bessere Akkulauftzeit.
