The best general-use datafield for Garmin Edge computers. This is how the default UI should look (yes, I understand it's copied from Wahoo, but anyway)

Native Garmin segments are so garbage. They are lacking any reasonable functionality. On device they promote to pay for Strava and use their segments instead. Shame. Every time I buy something from Garmin it ends up with disappointment #Garmin #GarminEdge

I learned today that if you have both a Garmin Edge and a Garmin watch, you can't automatically send heart rate data from the watch to the Edge when you start an activity. Before every ride, you have to manually enable the "Broadcast HR" option in the HR glance settings. This is really inconvenient.

HR monitor ot power meter, and then yes.

The bike does not matter so much, it is merely means to bump. HR up or put some work on the muscles.

I use my #garminEdge for routing and to warn me of too high HR or power during the ride and to record them. The Garmin ecosystem work fairly well for systematic training regardless if I have an event to participate it not.

#Garmin mnie dziś pozytywnie zaskoczył. Myślę, że nie tylko mnie. Dziś zapowiedział nowy komputerek rowerowy Edge 1050 z wieloma fajnymi nowościami (licznik będzie dostępny za 5-8 tygodni) a już dziś, wraz z nową wersją Beta firmware, nowości (softwarowe) trafiły do Edge 1040. Już zainstalowałem. Jutro będę testować.
Na szybko:
- podobnie jak w nawigacjach samochodowych (smartfonowych) można powiadamiać innych Garminiarzy o niebezpieczeństwach (fot. 1 i 2)
- lepiej widoczne na mapie drogi nieutwardzone
- aktualizacja map przez WiFi
