My parents have an #XUV590i #JohnDeere #Gater that is having starter issues. It appears to be a 4-6 hour job to even reach the starter.

Is there anything that can be done to get some more time out of this starter before either they sell the #UTV or pay someone (and hopefully don't try to get me to do the work for free lol 😬) to replace the starter?

I've checked the charging system (voltage readings from the battery at various times) and there are no problems with that.

Does anyone know what studs to purchase for the front hub on a #JohnDeere #Gater #XUV590i? My dad sheared two lugs and a third backed out on his Gater after a few weeks of having the winter snow tracks on this year. I also need to track down the right nuts because those got lost when the bolts sheared.

From the photos my dad's sent me, it looks like these just press in and out. I don't see any other damage luckily.
